This is a charming, family-run hotel with lots of outdoor seating, and each room has its own character. It's not close to the area's stations, Griebnitzsee, Babelsberg, or Medienstadt Babelsberg, so getting there can mean extra cardio. Of course, that's outside the hotel's control. I'd recommend renting a bike at Griebnitzsee station. Compared with The Seminaris Avendi, where I stayed before, this place felt like a breath of fresh air. Seminaris is decent too, with lovely hot chocolate I'd recommend, a nice waterfront, and the convenience of being across from the train station. I'd come back here.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful, and they even kept our luggage at reception so we could go to the convention. The rooms were clean and tidy, breakfast was tasty, and the location worked great for Filmpark. I was here for Animemesse and will definitely be back next time!

A lovely old building with a beautiful interior. There's free parking, and it's a 15-minute walk to the tram station for getting to Potsdam.

The bathrooms were very nice, and the staff were nice too. We paid €54 for one night. The rooms are a little outdated, but that was okay for us. Having TVs and sinks in the rooms was convenient. There wasn't internet, but our phones had data service. Sightseeing spots are close, within 15 minutes.

The room was clean, but it was very warm and had no refrigerator. There was only one small shared fridge on the top floor, four flights up with no elevator, so getting cold water meant making that trip. The kitchen equipment was limited too, and there wasn't anywhere to sit.
