Check-in was quick and easy with the PIN, and the Dutch Quarter is a perfect spot. Restaurants and cafes are right outside. But problems people mentioned months ago still haven’t been fixed. The furniture is worn and could do with replacing. The shower is ridiculous: it’s beside a sloping ceiling, with no glass screen, so you have to hunch over and the bathroom gets flooded. The toilet seat is yellow 🤢, and there are no curtains or blinds. The windows insulate well, but in summer the sun fills the room from 6:30 am.

The location is hard to beat, and there’s a coffee machine with plenty of pods. Everything worked, so the dated look wasn’t a major problem. The rooms are nicely furnished, though a bit old, and the faux leather headboard in ours was worn on one side. Showering in the tub was tricky because the folding glass screen didn’t seal fully, and some water almost always ended up on the bathroom floor.

The apartments are lovely, though they have a few small flaws. They’re in a beautiful spot in the Dutch Quarter, with the breakfast cafe Bussi/Amore right downstairs.
