On our last trip in Germany, this was the cleanest and most comfortable hotel we stayed in. If you’re driving in Potsdam, which is amazing, this is the best option. Quiet, clean and comfortable, and they also have a restaurant.

The staff were rude, and we were charged more than the price agreed through Booking.com. There was no breakfast on Monday morning, 27 November 2023, and we hadn’t been told in advance. The place itself was quiet and nice, but it was far from the center with no public transport nearby. The room was okay. I won’t be going back.

It was peaceful at night, with very little around the hotel, and the location on the edge of Potsdam worked well for relaxing. The bed setup was the letdown: we asked for a double but got two mattresses pushed together with a small gap, so I couldn't give it five stars.

The room was huge, the bed comfortable, and breakfast was good. Getting to public transport takes some effort, though. The nearest tram is at least a 20-minute walk away.

The hotel was pleasant, and Potsdam is a lovely, green place. Just keep the check-in cutoff in mind: it's no later than 8pm.
