The rooms are roomy, and the bathroom was clean and practical. It’s a very basic stay, though, with no minibar or air conditioning. The pillow was flat and barely supportive, and the bed linen looked dated. Breakfast was a basic cold spread. Clean and adequate, but there’s no luxury here.

The family hospitality was fantastic, and it’s right by all the walking routes. Breakfast was well served and good 🥞

We had a very pleasant stay in the apartment and were very happy with it. It has a kitchen, a wardrobe, and a separate dressing room. The Bruckmayer family are warm and accommodating, and you really feel that guests come first. The guesthouse sits in central Pottenstein, with a direct view of the castle. Breakfast was a generous buffet, and since we were the only guests that morning, we had it to ourselves. Thank you very much.
