The view of Pottenstein Castle from our room was beautiful, and the castle looks lovely lit up in the evenings. We had a wonderful vacation and felt very comfortable thanks to the super friendly service. We’ll definitely be back! 👍🏻👍🏻 Meg gave us a very friendly welcome and showed us straight to our room. She asked if we spoke English, and since we did, communication was easy ☺️. The room was very clean, and the kitchen, available in some rooms, had everything you need. Breakfast was the highlight. We could choose from a small menu, and they also accommodated special requests 😊. We can hardly wait for the restaurant to open in 2026. 👏🏻

The trout with almonds and the sauerbraten were hard to beat, and all the food was absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and competent. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely come back!
