The old building is a big plus, and the rooms are OK. But there’s no fridge in the room, so keeping food fresh for a child meant using cold water in the sink. It felt a bit like a campsite. From the garden, there’s a really interesting view of the castle. Breakfast was fresh, though very limited and short on vegetables. I wouldn’t recommend it for families.

The owners were very friendly and helpful, and we had absolutely nothing to complain about. Our room was clean and well kept, with comfortable beds and a very large bathroom. The furnishings were decent for a guesthouse. Wi-Fi was fast and free throughout the building, and parking was right by the guesthouse. It’s in a very central location, and the breakfast buffet was great value for money.

We had a lovely, generous breakfast, carefully prepared and served in a quaint breakfast room, and could relax over the evening in the guesthouse’s small restaurant. The bright room and bathroom were cheerfully furnished, and the hosts were very friendly. It’s the kind of guesthouse where you feel at home.

I was cycling through and found this place on the spur of the moment. One quick phone call and someone came to the door with a room key and the details I needed. The hosts are so friendly, and it’s easy to feel comfortable here. My single room was small, but that was fine for one night on my own. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, though there could’ve been a bit more fruit and similar things. They even offered me some food for the road. All in all, a great place to stay.
