Villa Ammonit

We were in apartment number 3 and felt at home there. It was clean and practical, and Mr. Hoffman was always helpful and glad to answer our questions. Shops and places to eat are an easy walk away, with Norma especially close by and Aldi, Lidl, and Edeka a bit farther along. We’d happily recommend the place.

Villa Ammonit was a great-value stay right in the city center. The apartment was huge and felt almost luxurious, with everything we needed. The owners were so accommodating and helpful. We’d recommend it to anyone.

The area around the apartment is beautiful, and the weather let us go hiking every day. We also really appreciated how dog-friendly you were. Thank you for the thoughtful welcome and for such a nicely furnished apartment. We enjoyed our stay and are giving you an excellent rating. Hope you and your family had a lovely New Year’s Eve! Sincerely, Holger and Anne

We were there with our 10-month-old, and the crib and highchair were already provided. The washing machine, drying rack, and clothespins came in handy too. A lovely little courtyard garden is open to all guests, restaurants are only a few meters away, and hiking trails start right outside. The central location also makes family-friendly activities easy to reach by car. The apartment is lovingly furnished, modern, and thought through down to the details, and everything was clean and tidy. The kitchen was better equipped than any vacation rental kitchen I’ve seen, from the large fridge-freezer, microwave, and oven to the egg cooker, waffle iron, and hand blender. There’s plenty of crockery, so the dishwasher is useful. Even though the building is on the main road, the insulated windows kept the noise down, and we could barely hear the church bells. Apartment 3 stayed surprisingly cool upstairs in summer, thanks to the thick walls. Many thanks to the Hofmann family. Highly recommended.
