Ferienappartements Rausch

The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. We bought fallow deer meat from Mrs. Rausch, who even gave us a recipe. It turned out delicious! 😋 We spent 10 wonderful days here, surrounded by forest, little streams, birdsong, rustling trees, fallow deer, and gorgeous views. The accommodation was clean and cozy, with a panoramic outlook, and we felt very comfortable. It's a beautiful area for hiking, and there are lovely winding motorcycle routes too. So peaceful, a perfect place to unwind.

We came for a weekend as two families. The apartments are roomy and nicely furnished, though the kitchenette is so small that cooking there isn't really practical. For kids, feeding the deer right by the house is a lovely feature. There is only a swing for play equipment, so a little more would be welcome.

Breakfast was generous and varied each day, and we were full enough to skip lunch. In the lovely weather, around 27 degrees Celsius, we chose not to use the spa. Mrs. Rausch had suffered a great loss, yet remained attentive and friendly to her guests. We have enormous respect for her. The balcony view is fantastic, and the clean apartments are simply furnished in a consistent style. It's wonderfully peaceful here. Even as flatlanders from the Tyrolean lowlands, we found ourselves enjoying hikes in the beautiful surroundings.

We spent a couple of days there last week and everything was just right. The room was clean, the surroundings lovely, and the hosts so nice. If you want some peace and quiet, stay with the Rausch family. We'd happily return!
