We stayed in May 2025 and everything matched what we expected for the reasonable price. The room was clean, breakfast was a nice buffet, and we got a free upgrade to the main building. Check-in was convenient, with the hotel waiting for us, and the staff were very friendly. It’s so close to the water, too. There were frequent mosquitoes outside, but that’s not the hotel’s fault, and everything inside was fine. Thank you.

This was probably our worst hotel experience. There are three separate buildings, and we were put in building √2, an old place with a confusing entrance. The photos don’t match reality: our window looked onto the road, and the room felt like the 90s. At 139 euros a night, I think it was worth 80 at most. Check-in is only from 4 o’clock. The receptionist was rude. We weren’t the first or last guests, I understand, but after seeing the room and dealing with the reception, we didn’t want to stay. Still, this was our stop before a seven-hour drive, so we planned to spend the evening elsewhere, sleep there until 7 am, then leave. As a hotel worker in Baden-Baden, I’m disappointed. Please teach the staff to be more polite and understanding, and not to let how they speak to a guest depend on the guest’s skin color or how long they’re staying. The room was clean, but we had to wait 10 minutes for hot shower water, the drain was clogged, and the towels were old. Money wasted.

The lakefront location, views, and friendly staff made it a perfect, quiet and relaxing stay for us. There was a big party in the restaurant on our last night, but we couldn’t hear the music in our room because the insulation is good. Breakfast was good, too. I have no complaints and can’t wait to come back soon!

The service staff were excellent, five stars. The location was top notch, and the rooms were spacious, though the interiors felt old. I stayed three days for a work offsite, and the mattress was a disaster for my back. Food quality varied wildly. On the first day, I had perfectly cooked chicken for lunch and equally lovely fish for dinner, five stars for the cooking. The rest of the meals seemed to be cooked by someone else and were very bad, two stars max. Breakfast was decent, but avoid the scrambled eggs unless you like chiselling a piece out of a solid block.
