I arrived after 7, but checking in and ordering breakfast were still no problem. You place your breakfast order in advance, which was easy and practical. My single room was very spacious, with both a bathtub and a shower, and it was extremely clean. The lights and blinds could be controlled remotely with a tablet. It's a lovely modern hotel, and the owner was extremely friendly.

The on-site restaurant was surprisingly good, and I'd highly recommend it. The rooms are small, and the bathroom doesn't offer much privacy. The hotel is next to the train station, though I didn't notice the noise. It's a modern hotel in a remote location, and I got some nice suggestions for things to explore.

In winter, the lake view is fantastic, and you can only faintly hear the train through the well-insulated windows. The hotel is beautifully designed and dog-friendly. Our room was clean and adequately furnished, with fun names for the rooms. We booked at short notice and were welcomed warmly. We'll be back!
