The staff are caring and friendly, and the food is top notch. The outdoor dining area should be amazing once spring and summer arrive.

The restaurant has a full menu at good prices, and the zucchini soup and hamburger were delicious. Check-in and checkout were easy, and it's about a 10-minute walk to the center. The rooms have a comfortable classic style and come with a refrigerator and microwave. Everything was extremely clean and well supplied, with thick towels and even washcloths.

The residential neighborhood was exceptionally quiet, with almost no noise, and there was plenty of free parking right outside. The restaurant downstairs says it makes the best burger in the kaiserslautern area. I didn't try it, but the grill smelled great. Check-in went smoothly, the front desk staff were helpful, and the room was very comfortable. The bed stood out as the most comfortable I've slept on in a while, especially compared with most beds in Germany. Coffee and tea were free in the morning, though I would have liked a breakfast option. An elevator would also have been useful, but the hotel is only three stories, so there's not too much climbing even on the top floor. The stay exceeded my expectations.

The innkeeper was especially friendly and personally arranged our 6am taxi to the airbase. Everyone was exceptionally nice, and the room and restaurant were excellent. It's an easy walk from the train station. My first stay, but it definitely won't be my last. Highly recommend.

There's a lot of care put into this beautiful hotel. The owners are kind and professional, and the food is fantastic. The restaurant has seating both inside and out. Ask for the house pilsner and a burger 👍
