We came for a meal, not to stay overnight, and had a lovely time. The local food felt authentic and the service was attentive. In summer, eating outside under the vines with a glass of excellent wine was peaceful and relaxing. If it rains, there's a covered bar and restaurant to move to. It's a nice finish to a cycle tour. The restaurant is currently closed on weekends, and they're popular, so booking a table is best.

Their Cordon Bleu is the one to try, it's the best. The kitchen is a fine example of German cooking, and they have the best wines in the region.

Everyone here is so lovely. I was greeted warmly whenever I went to reception or the restaurant, and the food was excellent. They even waited for me when I turned up for breakfast a little later than usual. Thank you for a wonderful stay. This kind of hospitality is rare.
