We had a lovely evening with our usual group. The room is simple and the food comes out in an old-fashioned style, but neither took away from how it tasted. The meat and other dishes were honestly cooked, portions were just right, and the service and quality were excellent. The menu is limited, but I wanted to leave a review because of those things. They also sell sausage, bacon, and other meat products. Thank you!

We were left waiting for a while without even a greeting, and the service felt unfriendly. That set a poor tone before we picked up our Sunday order, which we had chosen on friends' positive recommendations. For 61 euros, we ordered three schnitzels with sauces and sides, plus an Italian salad. The salads were tasty enough, though nothing special. The schnitzels were small, quick-cooked, supermarket-style pieces, and they weren't properly breaded before being covered in sauce. Some had no coating and the rest only a thin layer that came off in the pan. The sauce was very watery, tasted like powder, and had canned mushrooms. Croquettes came as the side. It was a real letdown when we were hoping for a nicely breaded schnitzel. We're very disappointed. The meal wasn't worth what we paid, so we won't recommend it or book again. We had considered recommending the hotel to friends who planned to visit, but that's off the table now.

That rump steak is hard to beat: just under €17, grilled perfectly every time, and incredibly delicious. The menu is short, but everyone in our group can quickly find something they like. So far every dish has been freshly made and outstanding, with portions that feel just right. The place keeps things focused on the essentials. Top-notch!

We couldn't find a turkey or vegetarian choice, just different pork schnitzels and two kinds of beef steak. There wasn't any asparagus either, even though it was in season. The young waiter was very brusque, and when we wanted another drink or two, there was no waiter around.
