The pub had such a welcoming atmosphere, and everyone was friendly. Niall, Ger, Tess and the rest of the staff were fantastic, always making sure our drinks were topped up 🤣. We loved the food and the service, too. The hotel was just as outstanding, simple and comfortable. The Christmas markets and shops are an easy walk away. We’re already planning a return next year. Thanks again for everything, we really loved our stay.

The Dubliner made sure we could watch our local English team, even with so many German matches on that night. We had beers, met some new friends, and got excellent service. It’s a really friendly place, and the landlord was more than accommodating. It’s great for a beer and football, or a drink and a meal. We’d eaten beforehand, which was a shame because the food looked good and everyone we spoke to rated it highly.

Dan and Alex did a great job. The drinks were amazing, and karaoke night was a lot of fun. We had a really good time at the pub.

I used to enjoy coming here over the years, but this visit felt different. Something seemed to be missing, and I can't quite say what it was. It just didn't work for me this time.

We only meant to stop for a drink, but ended up having dinner too. Some recent reviews make it sound like you should avoid this place, but we had a completely different experience. It was busy on Sunday, yet the service was really good and the food arrived quickly. Mrs W had the stew and I ordered a bacon cheese burger. The portions were so large that neither of us finished. And outside Dublin, that was one of the best pints of Guinness I've had.
