GINN City & Lounge Hotel Ravensburg

I really enjoyed the breakfast, and the bar coupon for skipping room cleaning on consecutive nights was a nice touch. The staff were attentive throughout, and parking was easy to access. My room was spacious and worked perfectly for traveling alone.

Having a kettle in the room was handy for making tea or coffee, and everything was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was very nice. It's right by the train station, which makes it especially convenient when arriving by train, yet the room was quiet.

The room stayed quiet and clean, and things went smoothly once I was checked in. Checkout was easy, but check-in took too long and asked for too much information. There is some automation, though not all of it is intuitive.

The carpet has left me with a rash that I'm still dealing with more than a week later. I barely slept that weekend and felt ill the whole time. Before booking GINN City & Lounge Hotel Ravensburg, we called specifically to ask about carpet because of my severe dust allergies. The woman at the front desk assured us the rooms had hard flooring. On arrival, though, we found carpet, and a man at the front desk confirmed every room has it. Nearby hotels were already full, so we had to stay. This was a serious health issue that could have been avoided with accurate information. If staff aren't sure about something medically important, they should check before answering. Guests don't call to be misled just so a booking can be secured. The experience ruined my weekend and has had lasting effects. I can't recommend this hotel to anyone expecting honesty, care, or basic professionalism.
