The entrance looked awful, and I never even got to see the rooms. My Hotels.com booking wasn't in the hotel's records, and they called me a "no-show" because I arrived late, then refused to give us a room. We were left stranded, and the receptionist was unbelievably rude. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Odaları görmedim ama girişin iğrençliği yeter de artar means I didn't see the rooms, but the entrance's awful state was more than enough.

The staff were lovely and helpful, and spoke German and English. My only real complaints were that the room didn't have a double mattress and the toilet had weak water pressure. We stayed two nights and had no trouble in the neighborhood, though at first it seemed a little intimidating. You might hear people shouting at night or smell marijuana, but that seems normal for a big city near a main station. There was plenty of nightlife, culture, and food nearby. I'd recommend it to adventurous people who want to explore the city.

Every staff member I met was so friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself felt clean and safe. From platform 1, take the nearest station exit. The hotel is on the same street, to the left beside the building called Joker. I'm not sure whether Joker is a casino. The area felt safe during the day, but there was broken glass from smashed beer bottles, so I'd carry pets to protect their paws. After dark, men often gather on the sidewalk drinking, and you may have to walk in the street to get around them. I'd feel safer getting inside the hotel by 10 p.m. The cigarette ends piled up by the entrance made it look a bit neglected. They should ask guests who smoke to move away from the front door and maybe put out an ashtray.

I had a lovely two-night winter stay and would book again. I arrived after midnight on a weekday, and the man at the desk was personable and helpful. The room price is hard to beat for being so close to Munich Hbf. Street noise was noticeable with my window cracked for fresh air, but it didn't bother me and sounded like ordinary city bustle. It got fairly quiet after 11 p.m. on a weeknight. I included a picture of the view from my window. I searched carefully for bedbugs and found none, which was reassuring. The mini fridge worked well, the shower had strong pressure and a full range of temperatures, and the beds comfortably fit someone 180 cm tall. If you weigh over 180 kg, the shower might be difficult to use. My shower doors opened outward as well as inward, which could help. The elevator is small, but one person with a small suitcase should fit, while a group of more than two others may need to ride separately. For safety, I found it best to keep my head down, avoid eye contact or responding to people, and walk briskly to where I was going without checking my phone. Very antisocial, non-tourist behavior, I know.

There was a nice buffet breakfast room, and the hotel was conveniently close to restaurants and supermarkets as well as the central train station.
