The room was a good size and the location was convenient, but with no AC it got unbearable. During the heat wave it was over 90° in the daytime and still a sweltering 85°F at 11 pm. Valenti, the front desk manager, was the only reason we got anything back. The CEO had first refused any refund for checking out early, but Valenti helped us get at least 20% refunded.

The main problem for me was the gym access. I picked this hotel because I wanted to use it for a little exercise in the morning, but it seemed only certain people had a key. I couldn't get in while those people were away. A staff member said she'd asked about access, but there was no follow-up. She also could've been friendlier. I felt foolish for bringing it up, and I still think everyone should be treated as an equal. For the rest, my friend and I stayed one night. The room was spacious, clean, and had a mini refrigerator. The parking was narrow, though mostly covered, which was a plus. Breakfast was a small spread, but it tasted good and seemed to have something for everyone. The hotel suited us for a one-night stay.

Parking for guests was included with breakfast in the price, and there was space right at the hotel. The building has a bit of a retro feel and is close to the old walls and gates of the historic city. Our room was roomy. Breakfast was good in a small dining room, though it could've had a little more on the sweet side. The woman looking after breakfast was very kind.

Everything else was fine, but there was only a fan and no air conditioning. I couldn't make it to the final breakfast and still had to pay for it.
