Schnyder Ranch

The horses and chickens at the farm kept our little ones entertained. But the rest of the stay had some problems. Check-in wasn't ideal: I had to call the person at the horse ranch several times, and we waited a long time for the keys and to get things about the room clarified. The freezer was broken, and the fridge barely seemed cold enough. There were no basic cleaning supplies by the sink or toiletries. We had to call for toilet paper, and the rooms weren't well stocked. There was dog hair on the bed and carpet, presumably from previous guests. With our 7-month-old, it wasn't possible to let him crawl on the floor because of it. They could've cleaned better or kept guests with pets in different rooms.

We liked being out in the countryside with our dog, while still only a few minutes from Ravensburg. The apartment was very well equipped. The shower stall was narrow, and the duvets could've been thicker for a cold December stay. We'd recommend the place and would come back.

The Wi-Fi worked really well, and the countryside location was nice. But it was definitely overpriced. The room was bare and smelled bad, the beds were uncomfortable, and there wasn't even a bath kit. The light beside the bed was broken. Nothing else to say, I won't return.

We arrived and found that the bathroom we'd booked as private was actually shared. The booking agency wasn't very cooperative, and when I called the host, he laughed at me. If you or your family, including kids, are naked in the bathroom, someone could still come in through another door. That's completely unacceptable. Avoid these tricksters and stay somewhere else.
