The kitchen was spotless, but the rest of the apartment didn’t work well for relaxing. The sofa only really fits one person, so we ended up lying on the bed to rest, where there was no TV. We watched a movie on our phones instead. The shower area was barely adequate, and the dated, awkward furnishings made it hard to enjoy the benefits of having an apartment.

The apartment is huge, with a spacious living room, a comfortable double bed, a nice kitchen, and a great bathroom. It’s also very comfortably furnished. The location is lovely and quiet, just one street from the river and about a five-minute walk from the old town.

The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom has two sinks and plenty of storage. There are lots of hangers in the wardrobe. Check-in was contactless and easy, and the area is quiet and close to the city center. The parking garage at Dachauplatz is nearby and costs €12 per 24 hours. Getting luggage up the very steep stairs to the second floor was strenuous, especially with the last steps so narrow. Inside, the dark floor and black leather furniture felt dated, and there was a musty smell. The apartment seems stuck in the 1970s. The kitchenette has an old stovetop, the shower is over the bathtub with a curtain, and neither the kitchen nor bathroom has a window. All the lighting is energy-saving.

For our 3-night stay, apartment 1 was fine for a short city break. The bed creaked a lot, and some things, including the kitchenware and shower curtain, felt worn. The dishes weren’t in great condition, which may have been related to the lack of a dishwasher. We were still within a five-minute walk of the city center and many sights. The other apartments seem to be in better shape.
