I was there for three nights on a business trip and loved the historic room. The vegan breakfast at cafe Vincent was amazing, and the location was perfect, close to everything. Everyone was really friendly.

Layla and her husband have made the rooms in this building, which is over 800 years old, comfortable, clean, and cozy. The interior is spectacular and the furnishings are well done. It’s one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed in. Breakfast was very good, and the hot chocolate was delicious! 😄 Layla also accommodated my late arrival on a Friday night after my train was delayed. I was very pleased with my short stay and hope to return.

It’s a small, cozy hotel close to the station, with a delicious breakfast. The owner is friendly and knows what she’s doing, and she helps and guides visitors. It might feel too small for a longer trip or a big family, but it’s just right for a short visit. I had a good experience.

The breakfast was fantastic, and that probably makes up for some of the hotel’s quirks. The queen bed is actually two separate single mattresses, with separate sheets and single size doonas. At 180cm tall, I found it uncomfortable to sleep on. With earplugs and a fan, I managed to block out the street noise overnight, but on Saturday morning a big truck delivered chairs and tables to the cafes next door at 7.30am. There was no sleeping through that. Wi-Fi was available but kept dropping out. It’s a cute hotel, though if you’re a light sleeper or tall and visiting Regensburg for a relaxing weekend, check that the room setup will suit you.

The hospitality was amazing, and breakfast was even better. You have to try the peach marmalade.
