You’re right beside the cross-country ski track and hiking trails, and it’s only a five-minute walk to the village center. The holiday home is really cozy, lovingly renovated, and still has its own charm and character.

We enjoyed lovely breakfasts on the terrace in the small private garden, which is fenced in. Our dog, Krümel 🐶, came along and Manfred welcomed him with a treat. We spent a week in Apartment 2 at the Alpenchalet and felt very comfortable there. The furnishings are tasteful, modern, and Alpine in style. Each morning, we enjoyed walking into the village to get bread from the bakery.

We stayed with friends in a house listed for eight people, though there were seven of us. We were satisfied overall and would stay at the same place again, while keeping the points below in mind. Getting there by car was easy, and both the town center and nearby hiking trails were within walking distance. The view was lovely from outside or from a south-facing room, though not directly from our room. The balcony looks like it would be very nice in summer. The furniture was in very good condition, and the kitchen utensils matched the pictures and were also in good shape. The biggest issue for us was cleanliness. A sweater fell on the floor and came back covered in dirt, hair, and dust. When we wiped our fingers on other surfaces, they got dusty too. That was very disappointing, especially since one of our friends owns a cleaning company. There was also a small mass under the living room carpet. Although the house was advertised for eight, it didn’t feel suitable for that many people, or even seven. Six seemed like the most it could comfortably fit. When all of us gathered in the living area to eat and chat in the evenings, there weren’t enough sofas, so someone had to sit on a chair, which was uncomfortable for an adult. That may depend on personal preference, but it didn’t work well for our group. One bathroom has a large glass panel in the wall. A zebra-striped curtain covers the window, but small gaps remained, making it bothersome to shower or use the toilet because someone could see in. The curtain should be much wider than the glass. The accommodation was really nice and very clean. I did miss having fly screens on the windows and door.
