Gästehaus Angerer

The rooms are cosy, and Gästehaus Angerer with the Sachenbachers is right in the city center, close to everywhere you might want to go and with public transport nearby. This was only my second time there, or maybe my third. I've been to Reit im Winkl at least 20 times, since my grandparents had a little holiday apartment there and I usually stayed with them. I'm a regular and love that little village. Because of the corona measures, which are relatively strict in bavaria, there wasn't a self-service breakfast buffet. That was fine, as the food was brought to you according to your wishes. The selection isn't especially large, but the quality is very good. I enjoyed the little croissants, of which only 3-4 were available because other hotel guests didn't seem to want many. They asked if I'd like more and the real, big ones the next day. The following morning, we had 3 croissants ready for us. That's customer service. If all the bikes at the rental shops are reserved or taken, ask for help. They'll try to support you in every possible way. It was another great experience. The only reason I might not recommend the place is that more people could book and leave fewer rooms free for me. My 21st time in Reit im Winkl might well be here again.

Great for a sports holiday, with cross-country skiing routes right by the property. It's also nicely placed in the middle of the village. The rooms were clean and large, the service very friendly, and breakfast fresh and tasty.

A good place to spend a few days in a very nice part of Bayern. The gasthouse is clean, the rooms are great, and breakfast is very good. The owner is kind and helpful. Recommended to everyone.
