We spent most of a day watching the paragliders up close after seeing them drift across the mountain view from our balcony. They're often in the sky until late afternoon in summer. The balcony ran the length of our apartment and had a table and two chairs, and the place was quiet, with guest parking out front. Reit im Winkl feels friendly in both summer and winter, with good options for walking and hiking. We had a wonderful week and would gladly return to Gästehaus Bergwinkl, where the two hosts were very friendly. The whole accommodation was spotless, inside and out, and our smaller apartment was more than big enough for my wife and me. The beds were excellent, which mattered to me as a fussy sleeper who usually struggles in a new place. There was a large wardrobe and a TV in the bedroom. In the living area, we had a small sofa, a TV, and a table for two, along with a coffee machine, kettle, toaster, two-ring electric hob, fridge, and dishwasher. The bathroom was lovely and spacious, with a shower cubicle, toilet, sink, and large mirror.

Restaurants are just around the corner, and it's only a three-minute walk to the bakery and Edeka supermarket from this central spot. As soon as we came into the hallway, the music, candles, and pleasant scent made us feel welcome. Our apartment was comfortable and had what we needed. I especially appreciated the extra basket of towels that guests could take from as needed.

The toboggan run is right across the street, and everything else is within walking distance. Our rooms were spacious and sensibly laid out, with practically everything we needed. The hostess and her husband were always available if we had a question or request. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.

We felt at home from the moment we arrived and really enjoyed all 10 days. The balcony was a lovely spot to relax at any time and eat outside, and the hosts were always ready to help. The apartment had everything we needed and was clean and well kept. Haus Bergwinkl is our first choice in the area, and we wholeheartedly recommend it.

On our second visit, we were just as satisfied. The apartment is modern, clean, and well maintained, with a very central location. The hosts are friendly and helpful, and we'd gladly return.
