We went to Pretzner Bakery for breakfast every morning of our vacation. The bread and pastries were incredibly good, and you can tell they’re made with real care and skill. It’s a gem in Reit im Winkl, especially for anyone cooking for themselves. It does cost a bit more than the chain bakery in town, but every bite was worth it. If you care about quality, go here.

For us, this has always been the best bakery in Reit. The staff are friendly and helpful, and all the baked goods are delicious, from rolls and bread to pastries. This year we tried the jams for the first time. They have a lovely fruity flavor and less sugar than mass-produced jam. I make plenty of jam myself, so I’ve got a good basis for comparison. Keep it up!

There’s a short wait sometimes because the staff give each customer time, but they’re really friendly and helpful, and it’s absolutely worth it. The prices are reasonable, too. The selection covers just about anything you’d want, with rolls, bread, cakes, and different pastries. Excellent bakery!
