Chalet SEE-Idyll

We love coming back here, this was our eighth visit. There’s so much to do, from windsurfing lessons at the yacht school next door to SUP on the lake, climbing, hiking, taking the gondola into the mountains, and shopping trips. The views take in Neuschwanstein Castle, the Allgäu, Lake Forggensee, and the mountains. You can relax or find plenty of activity, and our holiday home is a dream, run with so much care.

WOW!!!! We’ve now stayed in the “new building” twice. Both apartments, in our view, get the mix of modern and traditional furnishings just right. The place is beautifully set right by the lake, yet close enough to enjoy urban life. Everything was clean, and the landlords were incredibly friendly, easygoing, and trustworthy. Anyone finding fault here must be complaining at a very, very, very, very high level. We’ll absolutely be back, and we can’t wait!!!!!!!

The large apartment’s open-plan kitchen is especially well thought out and makes cooking a pleasure. The house is beautiful and in an exclusive setting, while the apartments are roomy and finished to a high standard.

The whole process was relaxed and straightforward, and the owners were friendly and quiet. There’s parking at the house, with attractions close by. The apartment itself is exceptional, tastefully and richly furnished, and set in a peaceful, exclusive spot. Having private access to the lake and a beach area is a real plus. We’ll definitely return.
