The balcony view was amazing, and breakfast was filling with lots to choose from. My husband and I stayed for two nights and cycled here from Füssen, about 5 km along a nice route. The hotel and staff are lovely, and they speak English too. I’d sincerely recommend this place.

The owner goes out of their way to make things easier, and the food is made with fresh ingredients. The area feels spacious, with options to swim, cycle, or walk from the hotel. My wife and I enjoyed a drink on our lake-view terrace. It was so pleasant and cool, with Neuschwanstein in sight.

The direct view of the lake is lovely, and the place itself is good. The menu is only in German, and the waitresses didn’t take time to help us understand it. Another customer offered to help instead. It wasn’t a major problem since the dishes were quite traditional, like schnitzel or sausage, and the prices were fairly low.

The lake views are beautiful, but the timing was off: my hot meal arrived 15 minutes before my friend’s salad. After we finished, we waited a long time in case we could order dessert, then eventually went to the bar to pay. That took far too long.
