Hotel Rodewisch

We paid €125 for two rooms for three people. They’re small, but quite adequate for two, and very clean, comfortable, and well kept. The family-run place has wonderful homemade dinners and a generous breakfast, all in a quiet, cozy atmosphere. It was a real shame to hear the rooms were currently unoccupied because of COVID-19 restrictions. It was very nice.

The room and shower were clean, the staff friendly, and breakfast was excellent for a hotel this size and price range. The price for what you get is absolutely fine, and I’d gladly stay again. I was there for one business night at this quiet hotel on the outskirts of Rodewisch. The room felt cluttered because of the massive wardrobe, and the desk was a bit too small, so there’s room to improve. Still, the good points clearly outweigh that. There’s also a beer garden where you could have a pleasant evening when the weather’s nicer.

The food was excellent for a hotel of this size and category, and even locals eat there. Compliments to the kitchen! The service was attentive and professional without being intrusive, and the price for what you get was superb. It’s a beautiful, clean, well-kept hotel. I stayed one night on business, and they even put a complimentary nightcap in the room. Highly recommended.

The menu is short and changes often, and the food is very good. Prices are almost reasonable. The owner is a great host and looks after his guests well, and the atmosphere in the house is lovely. The space works for celebrations, and the restaurant is open every day.
