We wanted a quiet couple of nights in the mountains, away from the crowds, and this place suited us well. The owners were lovely and had provided everything we needed. The setting may not suit everyone, since it’s quite removed from the bustle, but we were happy with it. I’d recommend it for a relaxing break.

The village has what you need, and the next bigger town is only a short drive away. We loved the beautiful, spacious, clean apartment and the peaceful setting, but the Böck family made the stay: they were attentive, helpful, and so welcoming. This was our first visit, but it certainly won’t be our last. A holiday like this is pure magic. Five stars, and gladly ten!

We arrived only last night and were greeted so warmly by a lovely couple. The room was very clean, and the bathroom was spotless and well kept, with no mold. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the house honey is especially worth trying. I’d happily recommend this guesthouse. Best wishes, H. Schwarz. Enjoy your time in the Allgäu!

The bread rolls arriving at our door every morning, even on Sundays, were a lovely touch. We also had a large, pleasant balcony with a magnificent view, and the apartment was spotless and well equipped. The hosts were kind, helpful, and genuinely hospitable, just as promised. Highly recommended! 👌

There’s plenty to see nearby. Lake Forggensee is only a few minutes from Roßhaupten, and Füssen and Austria are within easy reach. I also highly recommend the ruins of Falkenstein Castle near Pfronten. On a clear day the views across the Alps and Allgäu are fantastic, and you can even spot the Zugspitze. We stayed in a guest room, which was very clean and reasonably priced; larger apartments are available too. The Böck couple were friendly, and I felt right at home.
