The lighthouse and sea are only a short walk away, and there's a little terrace outside the apartment. The flat itself is okay and has room for five, though the bathroom is tiny and the shower swings between hot and cold. What bothered us most was how impersonal everything felt. We never met the landlady, and she hadn't answered our emails before the trip. A woman who didn't speak German let us in and showed us around without saying anything, then quickly left. There was no welcome at all, which we found really disappointing. We won't return. If personal contact doesn't matter to you, the apartment has what you need.

Cleanliness mattered most to us, and the apartment was very clean. It's also in a central, convenient spot. Thank you again for having us, Scholwin family. Wishing you good health in the years ahead. Best wishes from Cuxhaven.

I've returned to this holiday apartment several times because it's simple but does the job perfectly well. The owners are very nice, and I get along with them easily.

It's handy for both the old river and the sea, right in a central spot. The furniture is plain and practical, though the place could feel a little warmer.
