Hotel Bellevue Warnemünde

Really great.

The breakfast was a real highlight, with an excellent selection, and the breakfast room felt pleasant rather than sterile like newer hotels. We also had dinner at the restaurant one evening. The service was quick, and the food was nice and traditional, though this isn’t the place to look for a printed menu. Staff were friendly everywhere, at breakfast, in the restaurant, and at reception. Our room was cozy, and the bathroom was tidy, though a few small areas could use attention. The minibar was empty, perhaps it’s stocked only in summer. We like the charm of an older building, and the location and view were fantastic. We were lucky to find a parking space at the hotel, though an older hotel in the city center obviously can’t have parking for everyone. It was our first visit, and we’d definitely come back if we get the chance. Thanks for a lovely weekend.

The setting is lovely, right by the sea, with a beautiful view and a great location. Dinner and breakfast were good, the staff were helpful and friendly, and we got a parking space in the courtyard. But the rooms were worn out and completely outdated, and the beds were old and sagging badly. The balcony furniture was dirty and almost unusable. There were stains on the neglected carpet, and the bathroom and shower weren’t clean, with some damaged tiles. The restaurant had dirty glasses, and the breakfast room was cluttered. For the price, I absolutely can’t recommend it. It looks like the property hasn’t had any investment for quite a while.
