Vogel Hotel Appartement & Spa

I felt really comfortable here and would happily return. The room was small, clean, and simply furnished, but it was quite enough for a few days. I was glad it had full curtains because the sun heats the room up a lot from around midday. Breakfast had all the usual things you'd want and was perfectly fine for the price. The new room I stayed in this time was very modern. I come back for a short break at least once a year, and the location is excellent, just a short walk from the Alter Strom (Old Stream). The two ladies at reception and breakfast were there again, they're practically part of the furniture! 😄 It was another relaxing stay, helped by perfect weather. PS: Please update the website.

The breakfast is really good and generous, though quite expensive, and the staff are friendly and helpful. This was our second time at the hotel, and we felt comfortable again. We weren't happy with the cleanliness, but the hotel handled our concern well, apologized, and gave us a discount. We were also given a four-person apartment for just the two of us, but it was very small, and I do wonder how suitable it would be for four people.

It's in a very central spot near the beach, but parking was hard to find. We only learned about the hotel's parking options from the map after we'd arrived. Inside, everything was spotless. The breakfast spread was generous and tasty, although the fruit and gelatin dessert in the refrigerator were warm and inedible, and the cucumbers were old and a bit yellow. We slept well in the large, comfortable bed. The hotel was cozy and nicely decorated, with a starry-sky effect in both the bathroom and main room. There was a small dining area, and upstairs an extra sleeping alcove for two, which we didn't use. The TV worked, but the hairdryer was broken and the shower pressure was weak. We'd recommend the hotel.
