Rotenburg is a lovely little town for a relaxing break, with lots of hiking trails nearby. The Barefoot Trail is especially worth a visit, about 100 meters from the apartment. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly recommend it. The apartment is beautiful, and the owners were very welcoming. There’s a veranda on two sides of the house, a mountain view, and a swimming pool opposite. We only got to spend four days there, and good weather would have been the icing on the cake.

We’re both retired and have stayed several times in the Rhododendron holiday apartment. The friendly landlady, spacious rooms, and panoramic views keep bringing us back. The countryside around it is beautiful, and it’s easy to get to the charming half-timbered town of Rotenburg an der Fulda. Willy and Ann

The swimming pool is right outside the door, and the location is great. The landlords are friendly and accommodating, and the holiday apartment is clean, cozy, and well-equipped. We’d be glad to stay again.

The accommodation was even lovelier than the vacation itself. I’d be happy to come back!
