We booked a double but got two single beds. It was horrible and dirty, and the staff didn’t speak English. There was loud music all night, though it wasn’t from the hotel and there wasn’t anything they could do about it.

The rooms were good, breakfast was okay, and the staff were good too. The internet, though, was a catastrophe.

Röchtt has what you need for a comfortable stay, with a store 1 km away and parks and lakes nearby. It’s only 20 km from Leipzig city center, which is handy. This hotel is now a camp for foreign refugees, and it’s a good place, believe me, I’ve stayed in several similar ones. The rooms are decent, living conditions are good, and there are recreation rooms and play areas. The staff and security guards are very kind to the refugees. My only complaints are the small cafeteria and poor internet. I liked it, overall everything was fine.

We found some good restaurants nearby. I think the guesthouse mainly rents to people working on construction sites. We stayed there a few years ago while hiking and were glad we found it. Our multi-room apartment was simple but okay for one night.
