Hotel Alter Ritter

The room had recently been remodeled and was pleasant, and breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the bathroom blinds were broken. We didn't notice until morning, when it was light out, and people walking by got a show.

The sheets, pillows, and blankets felt like the cleanest I'd ever seen in a hotel. The room itself was very basic, though it would be nice to have a kettle for tea. Breakfast had a good choice of food, and free parking was available. The hotel was clean and cozy, run by a nice family, and well placed for seeing the town's interesting spots. The main drawback was the traffic light junction right beside the hotel. Cars revving up there, especially in the morning, made quite a bit of noise.

The staff were fabulous and nothing seemed like too much trouble. The restaurant was great, and the location makes it easy to walk around town. The rooms are very small, though that's to be expected in a property this old. I'd definitely recommend it.

It's an old hotel, but a very nice one, and the location is perfect. The old town is just a five-minute walk away, so you can reach all the points of interest quickly without having lots of people constantly passing right by. The rooms have private bathrooms, and breakfast is usually included.
