Hotel BurgGartenpalais felt like a boutique hotel through and through, with a charming lobby, a great cafe, and an amazing garden. The people there were just as wonderful as Rothenburg Ob Der Tauber, which is the most perfect city I’ve ever visited. We were six, two adults and four kids, and the Chalet gave us plenty of room. It felt like our own cottage on the property. That was true for the first night, but someone stayed in the loft above us the second night, and we could hear them walking around very early. I hope I get to return to Rothenburg Ob Der Tauber and Hotel BurgGartenpalais many more times. I miss it already.

The staff were all very friendly, and the location was stellar. Our room was okay, but the shower was a problem. It only has half a glass panel, and the floor lip isn’t high enough to keep water in the shower, no matter what we tried. The bathroom door bottom looked moldy and clearly water damaged, so it seems this wasn’t just happening to us.

The breakfast was incredible and included, and there’s also a bar and an outdoor garden. It’s a great old-fashioned hotel in Rothenberg, with helpful, friendly staff. The bathrooms have been updated and look impressive. Wholeheartedly recommended.

We were allowed to check in early, which we really appreciated after flying overnight. Parking, air conditioning, and the location all worked perfectly, and breakfast was great, with eggs made to order. Everyone on staff was kind and helpful, and happy to share recommendations. We had a perfect one-night stay. Thanks for letting us try out your beautiful piano! :)

They serve a nice German style continental breakfast, and parking in the backyard was easy and very convenient. The location is perfect, really close to the main sights. Staff were friendly and helpful too.
