The twin bed was firm but comfortable. The room was clean, though small, and the outlet placement could’ve been better, with more outlets too. The bathroom was tight, with a cramped walk-in shower, but the water pressure was good and hot water was always available. The toilet squeezed between the shower and wall left little room to move. The reception area and breakfast space downstairs are both cozy. Staff at the front desk were attentive, friendly and full of helpful recommendations. There’s also a restaurant with a nice outdoor patio. The hotel is centrally placed for sights, restaurants and shopping, a couple of streets away from the busy town square but still close. Parking can be a challenge depending on what’s happening in town. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely come back.

Eating at Klosterstuble felt like being in a Disney movie. The meal had perfect flavors and portions, and the atmosphere was just as good. I’m not joking when I say it was the best meal I’ve ever had. I won’t forget it anytime soon!

The breakfast buffet had lots of good choices. They made my omelette fresh, and it was warm and delicious. The coffee was good too, and there was even a Mimosa option. I had a cozy few days here with my husband. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and the bed was comfortable. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. I really recommend this hotel.

The views from The Falcon's Nest were awesome, and the inside felt romantic. We opened windows on all four sides, so the cross ventilation was great. I’m 6 feet 2 inches tall and had to duck under the charming, rustic roof beams a lot.

We shared the schnitzel, roasted pork shoulder and Argentinian marinated steak. All three were outstanding, and the portions were huge and made for sharing. A fabulous dinner, with great service and atmosphere at this traditional German restaurant in a great city location.
