The Stadler family were so welcoming, and on arrival they gave us useful advice about the region and current snow conditions. Almhaus Webermohof was a great place for our group of five. It was very clean and well equipped, with everything we needed in the kitchen, plus plenty of towels and bathrobes. The Spitzingsee ski area is close by, less than five minutes by car, with about 15 kilometres of pistes and cross-country trails. There’s ski rental right at the bottom station. You can also use the Tegernsee-Card to save on rental and take the bus for free. We had fun with the hot tub, though it’s heated by a fire and takes several hours and a few rounds of stoking to get properly warm. The sauna in the old ski gondola is a fun feature, but only fits two people. We had a great time at the Almhaus and would definitely recommend it.

We found the chalet wonderfully quiet, surrounded by nature, and just right for relaxing. It’s cozy and has great amenities. The garden hot tub and little sauna are fantastic, and the hosts are incredibly friendly, with helpful tips for exploring the area.

We’ve already stayed here twice to unwind and plan to come back. The house and its surroundings are a dream, with such thoughtful furnishings, a great sauna, and an amazing heated water barrel. The owners are super friendly, too. There’s beautiful hiking nearby, including a fantastic waterfall. Highly recommended!

It’s easy to reach and well placed for trips into the mountains and surrounding nature. Almhaus is a beautiful house, right in the heart of the mountains, and equipped perfectly. Thanks to the Stadler family for making us feel so welcome. We’d love to return.

The views and setting were simply breathtaking, and we had a wonderful week at Webermohof. We also got to enjoy a fascinating tour of the truly state-of-the-art Webermohof on our last day. Breakfast was superb every day, with local products. Thanks for such lovely days, and stay healthy. Maybe we’ll see you again sometime. Cheers!
