Eichsfeld

I stayed for ten days, and the hotel was awful and dirty. They never changed the bed linen, emptied the garbage, or replaced the towels.

For what it costs, the hotel and rooms are acceptable, though I wouldn't expect much at that price. There are a few things best not examined too closely. In the bathroom, the only item besides towels was a bar of soap. That felt a bit lacking, since I would have liked something to wash my hair with.

The food was okay, but the cafeteria-like setting wasn't for us. You serve yourself soup and salad and get a drink. At lunch, we don't have much time, and ordering or paying took ages because one server was handling everything, including lots of takeaway orders and bills. We didn't especially like the food either, so we won't be back.

We had reserved several rooms for a family celebration, but after seeing the first one, we knew we couldn't have our family stay there and moved to the MK Hotel. The dim, old, dirty hallway had already made a bad impression. At first nobody was at reception, even though it was a weekday around 5 or 6 pm. Someone on the mobile number said they would arrive in a few minutes. The person who showed up seemed questionable and, as we later found out, was drunk. Terrible hotel.
