Hotel Rühen 24-hour check-in, free parking, guest kitchen

There was loud music from other rooms, and although the person on the phone said they’d call and tell them it wasn’t allowed, it went on until 3am. The place and part of our room smelled of marijuana, and outside it was clear that it had definitely been used there. We needed somewhere for the night after a last-minute change of plans and chose this place because it said check-in was available 24/7. What a regret. After arriving past 11pm, we found out we had to call the person responsible for check-in to get a key. We had booked through booking.com for two adults and one child, but the person refused to give us the key unless we paid an extra €10 for the child over the phone.

Our group of 10 colleagues stayed here. They don’t serve dinner every day of the week, but when we asked, they still made us a delicious meal. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean with great WiFi. It’s peaceful at night and easy to reach by bus or taxi, with Wolfsburg not too far away. Great hotel!

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the buffet breakfast had a wide range of choices. We loved the games room, with PS4, pool, and even darts. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. A wonderful, picturesque German town makes this a perfect stopover or somewhere to stay longer. We had an outstanding time at Hotel Rühen. Thank you so much, we’ll recommend it to everyone. Cheers

The 24-hour service was a lifesaver for my family and me while we were traveling and looking for a hotel nearby for a few hours. The host helped me remotely over the phone with self-service check-in, even though he was at a party. He was very polite and patient, and even asked what my kids would like for breakfast. Thank you!
