Ferienhaus Lichtung

The house was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. Even the pots and pans were still good quality, which is rare in holiday parks, and we got an exceptionally friendly welcome at reception. The houses are beautiful and very clean, and the outdoor park is lovely, designed with nature in mind. Our kids love being outside, climbing, playing in water, making huts from branches, and looking for insects. When we visited in 2017, though, none of the lawns had been mown, so it didn’t feel inviting to leave the paths because of ticks. For the same reason, there weren’t many spots where they could get into the bachläufen. I understand that not all the grass should be cut, since flowers, bees, butterflies, and animal hiding places matter. Still, I think the outdoor areas were designed a bit too much from an adult point of view, without much attention for children. I don’t think that was intentional by the owners, and it may have changed since 2017. The outdoor swimming pool next door is free for guests and has a really nice, friendly atmosphere. It was a pity that it stayed closed on some days when the weather was reasonable or even fair. In my opinion, how many stars this place deserves depends on the makeup of your family.
