Bergpanorama Ruhla

The big bungalow’s living room gets quite dark in the evening, and communication before we arrived was slow enough that we had to ask several times. Apart from that, we had a great stay. We were seven girls sharing two bungalows, and the location and facilities were excellent, with everything we needed. Someone showed us how to start the sauna, which we tried for 10 euros, and we also used the gas grill on two evenings. Thanks very much.

I can’t really comment on that, but the setting by the forest on the Reuter is lovely. I’ve had a garden below it for 40 years and go up whenever I can. There are lots of trails, and you can reach plenty of places by car too. From up there you can see Inselsberg mountain, and there are hiking paths as well as a bus to Thalfried Monastery in Thal. The “Schöne Aussicht” restaurant nearby is open again Monday to Wednesday after being closed for a long time because of illness. In summer I stay in my garden almost until dark. There used to be much more going on up here during GDR times, unfortunately...?

That warm hot tub on the terrace had a fantastic view toward Inselsberg mountain, especially in the morning and later under the stars. We’d booked Bungalow 1 for a long weekend during the February school holidays, with a fireplace, hot tub, and sauna. The place was clean, and the owner was lovely. Having a glass of wine by the fireplace afterward was wonderful. Thank you so much!

The view is stunning, and there are lots of lovely moments to be had on the hiking trails. The accommodation is attractive and has everything you need for a short break. It’s in a beautiful area, with direct access to the forest and trails close by. ;)
