The swimming pond really adds to the place, and the mountain view from there is phenomenal. There’s plenty to do nearby, and we made some lovely memories. Our apartment was cozy and nicely furnished. Check-in was a bit confusing: even though we’d said when we’d arrive, we had to figure out where to go ourselves. It all worked out in the end. One thing to keep in mind is that the balconies can get noisy. We prefer a quieter spot.

Our Enzian apartment had plenty of room for all seven of us and was tastefully furnished with everything we needed. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the farm is full of lovely things to see: a pool, rabbits, chickens, horses, and cats. It’s just outside Ruhpolding, about a 15-minute walk from the bakery and shops. We’d highly recommend it and would love to return.

We made good use of the beautifully landscaped garden and swimming pond, and felt very much at home at Lohener Hof. Frau Gastager gave us a warm welcome. The farm sits among green meadows with wide views of the Ruhpolding mountains, while the town is only about five minutes away by bike. Our modern holiday apartment was spotless and thoughtfully equipped down to the details. We really enjoyed our stay. Many thanks, dear Familie Gastager.

The mountain views from the terrace and balcony were stunning, and the landscaped swimming pond was worth its weight in gold for cooling off. We stayed in the largest apartment, “Enzian,” which had lots of space and everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. We were usually out during the day, so we mostly saw the ponies in the stable in the evenings. The farm cat won us over and kept asking for cuddles. A week went by far too quickly to enjoy everything, but I hope we can come back soon. Best wishes, the Eckardt family.
