Hotel Zur Post

I took an e-bike ride from Hotel zur Post through the area, enjoying the scenery: stunning mountains, tidy roads surrounded by nature, and lakes with clear green and blue water. It was mesmerizing, calm, refreshing, and truly memorable. The staff and people at Hotel zur Post in Ruhpolding were welcoming, the service was top-notch, and the vegetable curry was incredibly tasty. I'll definitely visit again.

Following up on my review below and the owners' reply, future guests can see that I find their responses very inaccurate. They're suggesting we damaged 16 bed sheets in 8 days. Yes, we had a sofa bed, but our children hardly slept on it because it was like sleeping on a stone slab. In their other replies to negative comments, it also seems to be the customer's fault and they always claim to be right, saying they use the best and so on. That certainly wasn't our experience. The rooms offer basic comfort, which is fine, but calling them 'high end' doesn't fit. They're nowhere near the standard of similar rooms in Dubai, London, or New York. All I can say is, if you want to wash while on holiday or sleep in a bed, avoid the Zur Post or be prepared for a fine.

The hotel is right in the middle of Ruhpolding, with restaurants and cafés within walking distance. Our rooms were clean, and parking next to the hotel was free. The hotel is nice and the staff very friendly. We stayed three nights as a stopover and enjoyed it. They even had a small surprise for our daughter's birthday during our stay.

I come here often and love the place. The food and service are both great. When we went for my dad's birthday back in February, the owners treated us so well and made a really nice gesture for him. I 100% recommend the hotel's restaurant and bar. Must visit when you're on holiday, 10/10.
