Haus Nr. 9

Really good :)

The kitchen would be a great place to return to for a game of Doppelkopf. We had a very pleasant stay in this cozy old farmhouse, furnished with a lot of care. The landlady was accommodating and did her best to make sure everyone was happy.

There’s a lot to see nearby, with chickens, horses, pigeons, sheep, cats, and ducks. The house itself is very charming and cozy, with a fireplace, a garden, a children’s treehouse, and parking right outside. There’s a sauna too, which we didn’t use, though it looks lovely. The hostess was friendly and very helpful, and you really have everything you need. You can even arrange bread roll delivery. For a small group, it’s a great place. Families with young children will have to judge for themselves. There’s a barrier at the top of the stairs, but in my opinion the steep staircase is still quite dangerous for little ones. That’s just my mom instinct talking, so everyone can decide for themselves. Also, I’m tall, so I had to watch my head carefully or risk losing a bit of height! The upstairs has no toilet, which is because the building is so old. Very charming, as you can see in the pictures.

There aren’t many hiking trails right by the house, though you’ll probably have a car anyway. The lovingly and extensively renovated half-timbered house is beautiful, with a great kitchen and bathroom, plus a fantastic tiled stove in the kitchen. It has everything you could want.
