Appartement Vanii

I took some time before writing this so I could be clear about it. My mother and I stayed June 21 to 25th. The room was great and I really liked where it was, and we left it in good shape and paid in full. We would even consider staying again because the place itself was very nice. Getting there was stressful. The German trains and bus from Cologne to Europa Park were running late, and we were meant to arrive around 8pm. We nearly didn't get in until close to 11pm, but tried hard to make it on time because I was worried we'd have nowhere to sleep. We made it at about 8:03pm. The manager, whose name I think was Wilhelm, seemed unhappy we were a few minutes late and was abrupt while I tried to work out the key and how to get inside. During the next four days, we passed the desk twice a day during the stated office hours, in the morning on our way to the park and again when we returned before 8pm. I never saw Wilhelm there. Then, after we had left the property and walked about four blocks, Wilhelm came by on a segway looking for around 8 euros for tourist tax. It was a little funny that he found us only after we left, despite our visits to the property over those four days. I wish Wilhelm had been more pleasant. We were foreigners in an unfamiliar place and at the mercy of late trains, which is why we arrived after 8pm. He gave us a hard time about it, yet wasn't in the office during regular hours either.
