The cleanliness was absolutely top notch, and the kitchen was well equipped. Still, we won’t return and can’t recommend the apartment. The second bedroom turned out to be a bed in the hallway behind a curtain, not a proper bedroom. We wouldn’t have booked it if we’d known, especially at this price. It’s also a basement apartment with no view. We politely raised the mismatch with the description, but the landlady seemed completely unable to understand and brushed off the criticism. I’ve never had a host react like that before.

We’ve stayed here twice this year and were given a warm welcome again. It’s a good fit if you’re spending all day at Europa-Park, and the kitchen has what you need for up to six people. The trash is taken out daily, and towels are replaced when needed. The value for money is excellent. Just don’t expect wellness or pampering, for that you should go to a hotel.

It’s okay if you don’t need privacy in a second room. What they call the second “room” is a bed in a nook along the passage to the bathroom, so you can hear everything happening in there. The landlady can’t take criticism and goes straight to personal attacks.

This didn’t match the description: it’s a basement apartment, and the supposed second bedroom is a passage room with a bed leading to a very noisy bathroom. You hear everything when someone uses the toilet. When we offered constructive criticism, it wasn’t accepted and was met with personal attacks.
