Hussnhof Farm Lodge

The children already say “see you soon” when we leave and start planning the next trip right away. We’ve had another lovely family holiday at Hussnhof, and the spotless, well-kept apartments have everything, with thoughtful details everywhere. Franz and Antonia are always around for questions, and when our youngest got a stomach bug last fall, they quickly brought fresh linens and towels. There’s plenty for everyone on the farm. The huge playground, sleds, ping-pong table, and all the ride-on toys keep the children busy, while the sun loungers and deck chairs give parents a chance to relax. The activities are fun for the little ones and a nice, restful part of the holiday for us, too. The animals are gentle and friendly, and Wally the farm dog has completely won our youngest’s heart. It’s hard to leave the cozy apartment, but there’s lots to see nearby. A walk to Kirchsee or Reutberg Monastery is lovely any time of year. Tegernsee, with its promenade and mountains, and the old town of Bad Tölz are also just a short distance away.

The garage full of pedal vehicles was the biggest hit with our children. The farm activities had a good variety, and everyone found something to enjoy. We stayed with our 1 and 4 year olds, and from the start it felt like a real break for us, too. The apartment was exceptionally clean and had all the useful things we needed, including bed rails, a changing table, plenty of towels, dishwasher tablets, and a box of toys. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, and always had great excursion tips. We had a wonderful holiday at Hussnhof. Highly recommended!

The alpaca trek was a real highlight for us, and the children also loved collecting their own fresh breakfast eggs from the henhouse, feeding the calves, and riding along on the tractor. We had an unforgettable stay at Hussnhof in Bavaria. Franz and Antonia made us feel at home right away with their warm welcome. Set in the middle of nature, the farm was a lovely place to unwind. Our apartment was very clean, lovingly furnished, and had everything we needed. The hospitality, atmosphere, and surroundings all felt just right. Many thanks to the entire Danner family for such a wonderful getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

Wally the farm dog was an instant favorite with our children. We had a wonderful week at the Hussnhof with our two kids, ages 7 and 4, and felt at home as soon as we arrived. The chalet is modern Bavarian style, thoughtfully designed, spotlessly clean, and built and furnished with so much care. It had everything we needed. The alpaca trek and tractor ride were included in the price, and we enjoyed both, especially going through the meadows and forests. There are lots of lovely places to visit within an hour’s drive, so the area is great for excursions. We’d love to come back and highly recommend the Hussnhof to everyone.
