If you have a car and mainly need somewhere to sleep without expecting much service, this works. The location is peaceful and the room was nice, though it’s a little remote. What let us down was breakfast at €15 per person: the portions felt measured out and nothing was replenished, so half that price would have seemed fair. The cups and glasses also still had toothpaste and coffee marks from the previous guests. A shame.

The owner checked in after our first night and was very helpful and friendly. It’s a quiet place to sleep, and I’d recommend it to anyone going to the Feel Festival. Our room was plenty big enough for two, though we found the distance to Lake Bergheide rather long.

We’d gladly stay here again. The rooms are light, welcoming, spacious, and tastefully furnished, and there’s a large garden with room for leisure activities. The house feels very welcoming, in a quiet spot with easy access to the motorway. Top-notch!

The Wi-Fi was the one good point, it was fast and stable, which matters since there’s no mobile phone reception. Otherwise, the accommodation was extremely noisy. We couldn’t properly control the room temperature, and the rooms couldn’t be made dark enough. The price-performance ratio felt completely unacceptable to me.
