After my father's funeral, we ate here and the food was really delicious. Most of the staff were incredibly kind, though the server working that particular day in May 2016 was extremely unfriendly.

A lovely old German café, with handmade goods rather than mass-produced or convenience food. The rolls are great, and the cakes are excellent.

The cakes taste amazing, and the staff are great. They can make things work no matter how many people you bring along.

It’s a good bakery, but it’s rarely open and the hours are awful. Bad Münder doesn’t have a decent bakery left, so why not run this one properly? It almost seems as if it stays closed because the owners are wealthy.

The service was friendly, and there’s a delicious breakfast selection. At coffee time, the cake and pastry buffet is truly fantastic.
