The staff were kind, and the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere. We had lamb and beef dishes. The oven potatoes were good, but the rest of the food didn't quite live up to what I expected.

A nice place with nice people, but the cevapcici had far too much salt. The portions are large, though the plate was just meatballs, fries and a tiny bit of rice, with no salad or other side to balance it out. I've had much better Balkan food.

We got a very large serving of roasted meats at the restaurant, which was nice, though I'm sure they hadn't been roasted right after we ordered. They were probably prepared hours earlier. The bathroom shower couldn't be hung higher than my head, so I had to hold it with one hand the whole time. The bed pillows were too soft for me, and being asked to pay in advance for our Booking.com reservation felt like a red flag. It's an okay place to sleep in Trier, but I'd look around for something better. Edit: For some reason Google flagged this review as violating its policies. I don't see a violation. The review isn't entirely positive and clearly explains why.

The restaurant is cozy and the wine is very good. The food was delicious, portions were generous, and it was good value. I'd definitely recommend it.

We had the Balkan plate and Balkan-style shrimps. Both were nicely and simply prepared, with good flavor. The price was reasonable.
